I was told Sports Clips no longer honors the Veteran's discount card I have been using 5 years. I was told this when I presented it along with my payment, by the manager. Instead, she said the offered a free upgrade to the MVP package. I didn't want that. I asked if they offered any veterans discounts? Yes she said. Just show your VFW membership card. I said I am not a member of the VFW but my driver's license shows my veterans status. Not good enough. I guess she doesn't realize all veterans are not VFW members. She did not even offer to honor it this time, with an apology that she would not be able to going forward. Poor business acumen and either ignorance or corporate disrespect for veterans. They also recently raised their prices. They have probably seen the last of my business.
